NOSS Tasmania is seeking to fill two volunteer board director positions to govern our incorporated not-for-profit association.
At NOSS, we are all about working with people with a disability to enrich their quality of life. We support, train and employ people with a disability.
NOSS is an incorporated not-for-profit association for people with a disability, supporting over 100 people living in the greater Launceston area.
We are a registered provider of NDIS and:
- support individuals and groups at home and in the community,
- run programs at the Red Shed,
- train and employ people with a disability; and
- operate an Australian Disability Enterprise called Bluegum Grounds Maintenance.
Skills and Experience
Successful applicants will have broad experience in current issues and opportunities relevant to not-for-profit organisations and the disability sector. More specifically, we seek applicants with experience in finance. In addition to core skills and attributes expected of board members, our board members must have current National Police Check and Registration to Work with Vulnerable People and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening.
