Youth, Family & Community Connections Inc. (YFCC) is a local Not-For-Profit Community Organisation providing a range of health and wellbeing services to young people, families, individuals and communities throughout the North West Coast of Tasmania.

YFCC are seeking applications for the position of Youth Alcohol & Other Drug Worker, to work within our Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug (ATOD) and Health Promotions Teams.  This position is full time subject to funding.

The position is based in Devonport and works across the North West and West Coast regions, aiming to improve the health, social and family functioning of young people (12–24yrs) and their families who may be experiencing problems associated with substance misuse, enabling them to reach their full capacity and participate positively in their community. The position provides specialist outreach ATOD Assessment, Counselling, Case Management, Supported Referral, Group Work and Education and Targeted Health Promotion activities.
