Youth, Family & Community Connections Inc. is a local Not-For-Profit Community Organisation that provides a range of health and wellbeing services to young people, families and communities throughout the North West Coast of Tasmania.
We are seeking applications for the position of North-West Regional Drug and Alcohol (NWRADS) Counsellor / Project Officer, to work within our Alcohol and Other Drug (ATOD) and Health Promotions Teams.
The position is based in Devonport, and works across the Mersey Leven area, aiming to improve the health, social and family functioning of individuals and families who may be experiencing problems associated with substance misuse, enabling them to reach their full capacity and participate positively in their community by providing specialist outreach ATOD

- Targeted health promotion activities.
The person we are looking for will be engaging, articulate and knowledgeable in the areas of ATOD and Health and Wellbeing. They will have tertiary qualifications in social welfare, or equivalent, and experience in ATOD counselling.
To qualify for an interview applicants must have a current Driver’s License AND a Working with Vulnerable People Registration, and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical.
