Burnie Works is a place-based Collective Impact initiative developing in Burnie. The focus of the framework is to create long term positive change in the community in the areas of education, families and employment. Burnie has a culture of long term intergenerational unemployment, with statistics showing a high rate of unemployment and a contrasting high job vacancy rate in the area.
This complex problem requires Burnie to build on the collaborative work already happening and target the issue from multiple areas including education, health, social disadvantage and youth unemployment. By doing this Burnie aims to create long-term change in community and culture, to create a vibrant, adaptable community as envisaged by the Making Burnie 2030 community strategic plan.
Burnie Works are looking for a Measurement, Evaluation and Learning Officer. The role will be responsible for the measurement, monitoring and evaluation of all projects and programmes undertaken under the Burnie Works initiative.
The Officer will ensure that there is consistency in the objectives and success indicators of programmes and will spearhead the development and timely delivery of relevant reports against outcomes.
