Pain Revolution Local Pain Educator Program

Pain Revolution, in collaboration with the Tasmanian Wellness Framework Project and the HR+ Tasmania Health Workforce Scholarship Program are offering scholarships valued at $9,500 to health professionals across Tasmania. The scholarships will provide support for clinicians (allied health, GPs, nurses) in Tasmania enrolled in the Pain Revolution Local Pain Educator 2019 Program.

The aim of the Local Pain Educator program is to embed within rural and regional communities the capacity to deliver best practice pain education and care while safeguarding the wellbeing and resilience of the GP and allied health workforce delivering it.  The Program consists of:

  • Professional certificate in Pain Science, delivered flexibly online by UniSA
  • Mentor program
  • Facilitated network activities including webinars, discussion forums and resource sharing
  • Education material for delivering community events
