Child Wise specialises in advising organisations and communities on how they can provide a safe and empowering environment for children and young people. We are excited to announce a new addition to the Child Wise suite of virtual classroom training programs: ‘Child Safety in Emergencies’.
This is a two-hour virtual classroom training designed to provide evidence-based information about planning for the physical and emotional safety and wellbeing of children and young people in an emergency response environment.
This program is suitable for staff who work in emergency response, including those involved in HR and volunteer management and planning of emergency responses, as well as Child Safety Officers.
Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 1300 244 539 if you are interested in tailored virtual or face-to-face* training for your leadership team, groups of staff and volunteers, or if the advertised training dates aren’t suitable for you. We would be happy to accommodate your organisational needs.
* offered within COVID-19 restriction requirements applicable in Tasmania.
