The Coalition delivering Mentors in Violence Prevention statewide: Hobart Women’s Shelter, Women’s Health Tasmania, Engender Equality and the Women’s Legal Service.

Book now for a FREE Mentors in Violence Prevention Program Workshop, being held in communities around Tasmania.

The half-day workshops are for everyone in the community. In them we talk about seeing people being bullied or harassed; they get us to think about, and practice, the things we can safely do to help. We’ve all been bystanders! MVP gives us the skills to help end violence in our communities by helping us learn how to be effective bystanders.

A group of NGOs is delivering MVP Training around Tasmania over the next 12 months, with the support of a grant from the Tasmanian Community Fund. The workshops have been booking out, and we’ve had waiting lists.  SO BOOK EARLY!

We can all be part of the solution to gender-based violence, which can sometimes seem an unfixable problem.
