As part of the national NDIS Recovery Oriented Psychosocial Disability Support (ROPDS) – Growing Workforce Capability Project Mental Health Victoria is offering 1,000 limited free recovery-oriented psychosocial training places nationally funded by the Australia Government’s Department of Social Services (DSS) as part of its Jobs and Market Fund.

Applications have just opened, but due to some unforeseen internal processes MHV has to close the application period in less than two weeks on 6 October 2021.

The places are open to NDIS support workers and support coordinators (and supervisors) who are new to providing supports to NDIS participants with psychosocial disability, mental ill health and/or dual disability. As well as any associated professionals (e.g. allied health, TAFE teachers, advocates, jobactive and DES providers).

Applications must be submitted by each individual wishing to complete the training to Mental Health Victoria via this SurveyMonkey link (3 minutes). The Mental Health Victoria Psychosocial Learning Hub program will include one foundational course valued at $132 per person. The course will run from 11 October 2021 to 8 November 2021. Here are some Frequently Asked Questions.
