Mental Health Services are undertaking a review of the role and function of the Mental Health Helpline and Crisis Assessment and Treatment Teams (CATT) within Adult Community Mental Health Services (ACMHS) statewide. This review is designed to provide an understanding of current practice and to determine where further work may be required to understand and/or address gaps or issues to improve client service delivery.

We would very much appreciate your feedback to assist us in identifying key areas for the review. This survey is the first step in the consultation process. While there will be opportunity to provide further input, if you would like to provide a written submission now you can do so by sending an email to mentalhealth.review@ths.tas.gov.au.

The surveys ask you to identify the area service in which you work and the region. This will be used to gain additional insight into the data. Providing this information is entirely optional, with responses to the survey questions able to be submitted without this information being provided. Results for groups of fewer than three people will not be associated with potentially identifying information when reported (e.g. the service and/or region where the person works). The anonymous responses setting is activated in survey monkey for each survey so that identifiable respondent information (e.g. IP addresses) is not tracked or stored. Individual survey responses will be combined and presented as a group.

A summary of the outcomes of the surveys will be made available. If you have questions about the survey or review process, please send them to mentalhealth.review@ths.tas.gov.au. Surveys close Sunday 1 September 2019.
