The Federal Government wants to change governance standard three of the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission Regulation 2013, which details when a charity may be deregistered for not complying with Australian law.

The changes would significantly broaden the basis upon which the ACNC Commissioner could deregister a charity. The plan has attracted widespread criticism, with many believing that it could see charities shut down for speaking out and impose a significant administrative burden.

Pro Bono Australia has launched this survey to ask you to what extent you feel you could be impacted by the proposed changes. Your thoughts will be shared and used to guide and inform the sector and government.
