Join the Institute for the Study of Social Change for this free forum to hear world-renowned expert and Chief Scientist at the National Centre for Healthy Housing Dr David Jacobs, who will share how quality housing shapes health outcomes for diverse populations.
Dr Jacobs will discuss how the new World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines can be used to inform Australian policy on both housing and health, and re-establishing partnerships between planners, health care and housing professionals, citizens, financial institutions and many others.
Dr Jacobs served on the WHO Housing and Health Guidelines and Development Group. He is a Visiting Scholar at the University of Sydney and has testified before the US Congress and is widely published. This presentation is supported by The Henry Halloran Trust.
