Health insurance is complicated and costly. A typical family will pay more than $4,000 a year – singles $2,000. But many of us may not be sure about just what we are covered for. Premiums are on the rise again from 1 April. We owe it to ourselves to check we have signed on for cost effective cover that’s right for our circumstances.
Consumers Health Forum (CHF) is the peak body for health consumers in Australia. We’re interested in helping you see if your relationship with your health insurer is a healthy one, and if not, how you can improve it. We’ll be using what you tell us about your experiences to help inform our advocacy to government.
