Health Consumers Tasmania is offering free introductory training in ‘Health Consumer Representation’. 

The session is designed to support members of the public who take on a health consumer representative position with a health organisation, and help them to understand and reflect on their role and responsibilities when they participate in committee processes.

Pre-reading is provided online by coordinators of the Associate Degree in Applied Health and Community Support, University College, University of Tasmania.

Training will be held:

Launceston Wednesday 4 March from 9.30am to 12pm in the Barrow Room on the Ground Level of the CH Smith Centre, 16-24 Charles Street. Register at

Devonport Thursday 5 March from 9.30am to 12pm at the Paranaple Convention Centre,

Hobart – Wednesday 25 March from 9.30am to 12pm at the Heart Foundation Training Room, 1/89 Brisbane St. Register at
