Tasmanian Hazara Community
Join the Tasmanian Hazara Community on Saturday, 21 August from 12pm to 2pm to learn about the horrendous situation in Afghanistan RIGHT NOW!
The Taliban now controls about half of Afghanistan’s districts, and dangerous fighting is continuing. There are imminent fears for the lives of many Afghans, including Hazaras. Women are under threat from kidnapping from their families, and anybody who have worked for the international forces, or are related to anybody who has, are in grave danger.
Under Taliban control there will be another generation of Afghan women without education.
Come and show your support for human rights in a peaceful Afghanistan.
Tell our politicians how they can support Afghanistan and Afghani people in Tasmania, including demanding immediate UN intervention.
