Family Violence Survey

Beng Poh

The Government is encouraging those who have been exposed to family violence and had experience with family violence services in Tasmania to come forward and have their voices heard by participating in our survey about the family violence system.

The completely anonymous survey that takes up to 20 minutes to complete is now open, and will run until  2nd December. Family violence service providers can also assist participants to fill out the survey. The survey can be accessed at www.dpac.tas.gov.au/safehomessafefamilies.

The Safe Homes, Safe Families: Tasmania’s Family Violence Action Plan 2015-2020 is the Hodgman Liberal Government’s coordinated, whole-of-government action plan to respond to family violence.

The plan is focused on changing the attitudes and behaviours that lead to family violence; supporting families affected by violence; and strengthening legal responses to family violence to hold perpetrators to account for their violence behaviours.
