With some of the Federal Government’s heightened support coming to a close this week, Aurora Energy wants to assure Tasmanians that it is still here to help.
Customers on Aurora’s YES (Your Energy Support) program who are meeting their payment commitments at their quarterly review will now receive a credit to the value of their next instalment (up to $200). Effectively, Aurora will make one payment on the customer’s behalf each quarter for the next six months.
There is also a range of different payment options and support for others in need of a hand, including a $5M Customer Support Fund specifically aimed at helping residential and small business customers who have been impacted by COVID-19.
To help spread the word, Aurora is asking community service providers that are speaking to clients about their experience of financial hardship to make energy bills a part of the conversation.
If a client identifies that they have an energy debt, or are finding that they cannot keep up with their energy bills – it’s important to let them know that support is available. The sooner they get in touch, the sooner Aurora can help them get back in control.
