EOI: Red Cross “new”Compass Program

Red Cross “new” Compass’ Program are seeking suitable volunteers who are a good listener, non-judgemental, and have good personal boundaries.   The volunteer will provide regular social contact, advice and information but will not be a ‘case worker’ or ‘mentor’ to participants who have recently exited Risdon prison.   The volunteer will have an opportunity to help a returning citizen transition back to the community and help reduce the risk of social isolation for the participant.

Red Cross will offer ongoing training and support for this role.
