The City of Hobart is currently reviewing its Housing and Homelessness Strategy. As part of this work the city is hosting a number of community forums.
The purpose of this forum is to provide a public information session about approaches to ending homelessness from an international and national perspective.
The forum will provide an opportunity for people working in the housing and homelessness sector or who are interested in homelessness to learn more about the IGH efforts globally and in Australia to not just reduce homelessness but to end it. During the forum, attendees will hear about the zero homelessness approach.
David Pearson is the Australian Director of the Institute of Global Homelessness (IGH) where he is working to help build a national campaign to support Australian communities to end street homelessness.
To confirm your attendance at the forum, RSVP prior to COB Monday 25 November, by email: firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone: (03) 6238 2100.
