DV-alert is a nationally accredited training program that enables participants to recognise signs of domestic violence, respond with appropriate care and refer cases to relevant support services. It is supported and fully funded by the Department of Social Services and is available at no cost.
DV-alert is for all community frontline workers in Australia, and is designed to empower participants to be confident first responders when facing issues of domestic and family violence. It is valuable for workers and volunteers in the health, allied health, education, childcare and community support services.
Lifeline are holding free DV-alert training: Recognise, respond and refer appropriately.
