Tasmania has the worst digital inclusion score in Australia and Tasmanian’s over 65 years old are some of the least digitally included in our state. It is important that all people can access and use online services and programs for the health, economic and learning opportunities they present.

The Tasmanian Government has committed to improving digital literacy of older Tasmanians through Tasmania’s Active Ageing Plan. As part of this, COTA has been funded to support older Tasmanians to access and use digital technologies by raising awareness and connecting people in the community to digital learning opportunities already running throughout the state.

To be able to distribute details of these digital programs through local communities and ensure that people know about them and what they offer, COTA needs to find out what these programs are.

If you know of any digital programs that teach older people digital literacy and skills in Tasmania, we would appreciate 10-15 minutes of your time for you to complete the following survey and tell us about it.
