SkillsIQ, under the direction of Community Sector and Development Industry Reference Committee (IRC), and with input from the four Case Management, Child Protection, Community Development, and Youth Services Technical Advisory Committees (TACs), is undertaking a project to update Training Package Products.
Consultation on Draft 1 Components commenced on Friday, 14 May 2021 and will close at 5:00pm AEST on Friday, 11 June 2021.
Draft 1 of the Training Package Products is available for comment on the SkillsIQ Online Feedback Forum. A Consultation Guide summarising the proposed changes is also available to download from that page. To access the Feedback Forum, please click here.
The SkillsIQ Feedback Forum provides all stakeholders with the opportunity to submit detailed input on any aspect of the proposed amendments to Training Package components (Qualifications, Skill Sets and Units of Competency) during the designated consultation period. Whether you are an employer, peak body or industry association, government body or regulator, employee association, training provider or student, we want to hear your views on the proposed changes to the Training Package Products applicable to the Community Services sectors.
You will be able to view the comments that other stakeholders have left and, in turn, post your own comments or reply to the comments of others.
SkillsIQ is also undertaking several activities at which industry stakeholders and VET professionals will be able to provide feedback. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, public consultation on Draft 1 will take place via webinars, emails and the SkillsIQ Online Feedback Forum.
