The City of Hobart grants program supports community-driven activities that make a real difference for people and communities. The grants can help bring your idea or project to fruition. Through cash and resource grants we invest in activities that enhance our community and culture and shape the social and economic life of the city.

City of Hobart seek to award a mix of grants that meet the diverse needs of the community and business in Hobart. The grant will fund activities that represent excellent value for the level of cash support requested and do not duplicate existing services or grants provided by other organisations. This round offers four diverse grants:

  • Community Christmas Carols Grant (up to $15,000)
Supports community groups and not-for-profit organisations to present free events and activities that include Christmas carols (not just large carol by candlelight events)
