Are you interested in completing Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work?  Fully funded placements are available!

Mental Health Carers Tasmania and Tasmanian Health Service Enterprise Registration Organisation (also known as RTO Connect) have successfully partnered to achieve fully funded (100% subsidy) student places to undertake CHC43515 Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work. This training normally costs $6,000.00. Three places are available to those who are Volunteers or those who would like to volunteer with Mental Health Carers Tasmania. Volunteering opportunities will be available in your region. Training will be delivered in Burnie and Launceston.

Would you like to work in paid employment as a Mental Health Peer Worker with a specialisation as a Carer?

RTO Connect (in addition to the above three funded places) also have limited places available to those who are not currently in paid employment or work on a casual basis; and want to obtain employment as a Carer Mental Health Peer Worker. These places are also fully funded.

What is Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work?

It is a national qualification; undertaken by those persons who are looking to develop specialist skills (carer or consumer specialisation) to work with others who are experiencing challenges with their mental health. You can only undertake this specialisation if you have a lived mental health experience either as a consumer or carer.
