Call for Nominations for the Volunteering Australia Board

Volunteering Australia (VA) is the national peak body for volunteering, working to advance volunteering in the community.  In 2018, in keeping with current practice, VA is seeking to move to a skills based board.

VA is calling for expressions of interest from individuals with extensive governance experience to assist us to achieve our mission to lead, strengthen, promote and celebrate volunteering in Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for volunteering to help create a stronger, more connected and resilient Australian community through volunteering.

As a member of the VA Board you will be helping to deliver our Strategic Plan. The focus areas for VA’s Strategic Plan 2017-2020 are:

  • National Leadership, Advocacy and Policy
  • Informative and Useful Research
  • Effective Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collective Viability (Sustainability and Resilience)

As the national peak for volunteering we are looking for representatives from across Australia.
