Brief Interventions engage people to think about their health in ways that are meaningful, helpful, supportive, and are effective at evoking change in behaviours. Aimed at Community Service and Social Work Students along with new entrants to the AOD and Community Sectors, this training will cover these short, often opportunistic conversations for use during every day contacts in the overall community support, treatment and education sectors, and are effective at promoting and sustaining positive health behaviour change.
Who: Community Service and Social Work Students, and new entrants to the Community and AOD sectors.
