Active Living in Tasmania Forum is open to individuals who have an interest in physical activity, planning, transport, preventive health and liveability.
The keynote speaker Prof. James Sallis is internationally renowned as a pioneer in the study of the built environment and physical activity. The morning will also showcase latest research from the Menzies Institute for Medical Research as well as current work from the Local Government Association of Tasmania, the Heart Foundation and Dr Iain Butterworth from Victoria. The morning will conclude with a panel discussion led by Professor Sallis providing the opportunity for lively debate between invited guests and local planners, researchers and policy makers.
