ABC & ACOSS Talent Diversity Callout

1 September 2019 12:00 am Australia/Hobart

ABC News is currently working with ACOSS to build out its database of people who identify as women from all backgrounds to call on as expert talent, opinion leaders and sources for interviews/commentary on our digital and broadcast platforms. This database will be used by ABC interview producers, talent bookers and journalists and ACOSS staff to identify people for media opportunities.

    Complete an EOI.

If you are a subject matter expert, or know one, please put up your hand. You are welcome to nominate yourself or to encourage a colleague who may be reticent about nominating themselves. If you have never participated in a media interview or written an op-ed before and feel nervous or unsure, please don’t let that be an impediment.

The ABC is deliberately looking for fresh, diverse voices and perspectives from all backgrounds to add to its talent pool, so be bold and put up your hand! All nominees contacted by our experienced interview producers and talent bookers will be guided and supported through the process. All personal data collected by the ABC is managed in accordance with their privacy policy. The data will be provided to ACOSS. ACOSS may contact you about media and/or leadership programs.
