Grief & Loss Workshop

Palliative Care Tasmania is holding a Grief and Loss workshop which is open to all health care providers, volunteers and carers.

The workshop will include information on:

• understanding grief and bereavement
• current grief theories
• communication
• understanding paediatric grief
• compassions fatigue and self- care

Palliative Care Tasmania (PCT) and Specialist Palliative Care Services – North (SPCS-N) are collaborating together to present the workshop and provide the opportunity to learn more about this topic.

Presenters are Sharon King (PCT), Leanne Barton (SPCS-N, Volunteer Coordinator) & Carmen Schiessler (SPCS-N, Social Worker).
