The 2019 Tasmanian Suicide Prevention Forum will be held on the 8 May from 9am to 4pm. This year Theme is: Everyone, Every Day, Everywhere.
The program will include invited speakers, workshops and lived experience speakers with a focus on strengthening peer-support across Tasmania. The program has been developed based on input from TSPCN members and includes:
- Bianca Childs, Peer Practice Advisor, Mind Australia
- Rebecca Sng, Next Steps Suicide Prevention, Grand Pacific Health
- Dr Anthony McCosker, Swinburne University of Technology
- Dr Alex Hains, Regional Manager, Illawarra Shoalhaven Suicide Prevention Collaborative
The forum is open to anyone with an interest in suicide prevention and is a great opportunity to network with others with a shared interest including community members, those with lived experience, government employees and service providers.
Cost: Full Registration $90 ($45 Concession)
